  1. Piedmont 11-0: Remains undefeated after going 3-0 in the SoCal Holiday Prep Tournament beating Centennial 83-67 in the championship game. Unsigned Senior Eva Livingston and Junior Natalia Martinez were Co-MVP. They will begin league play hosting Castro Valley January 10th at 7:00 pm.

  2. Archbishop Mitty 9-2: Holding strong without their star Junior Morgan Cheli. Mitty’s freshman phenom McKenna Woliczko has been picking up the slack averaging a double-double during Nike TOC as the Monarchs went 3-1 defeating Desert Vista, Bishop McNamara, Sacred Heart (Louisville) and dropping their only game to eventual Nike TOC champs Long Island Lutheran who is now ranked the #1 team in the country.

  3. Clovis West 16-0: The Golden Eagles are currently on a hot streak. Currently holding a 16-0 record and could very well go undefeated for the regular season.

  4. Folsom 9-2: With a solid 9-2 overall record, Folsom is deemed ready for any team they play moving forward.Losing in the NIKE TOC Championship second division they’ve shown they will compete against anyone.

  5. St.Mary’s Stockton 11-5: The Rams may very well have the toughest schedule in the area. All five losses have been winnable games except dropping to Archbishop Mitty which the Monarchs controlled from the tip. St.Mary’s led behind Junior Jordan Lee will continue to make a run deep into the season as they have top programs such as Oakland Tech, SCA(Landover), and Centennial (Las Vegas) remaining on their schedule.

  6. Salesian 12-1: The Pride is off to a great start to the season with a dynamic senior core. The defending D1 state champions are deemed for a shot at an Open Title this year! We will keep a close eye on salesian!

  7. Oakland Tech 10-3: The Bulldogs may have the best overall roster in Northern California. As they continue to heat as the season progresses they will be an extremely tough team to face!

  8. Sacred Heart Cathedral 10-1: The Fightin’ Irish have taken the community by surprise with convincing wins over San Ramon Valley, Acalanes, and recent big win over Carondelet. It’s been awhile since we have mentioned SHC name in anything so it’s great for basketball to see them making their way back into the light.

  9. Acalanes 8-5: The Dons have made a resurgence under Head Coach Margaret Gartner with big wins over Vanden and Bishop O’Dowd they will look to make a deep run in the playoffs.

  10. Cardinal Newman 10-6: Head Coach Monica Mertle never shies away from competion as she always has her girls ready to compete. Another program with a strong schedule it will be interesting to see where the Cardinals finish. Can they make an open run again?

Teams on the bubble: Vanden, San Ramon Valley, Antelope and Carondelet.
